We are seeking an exceptional Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for transactional law and a keen eye for detail. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for supporting the firm's founding partner primarily in the areas of real estate and business law, from contract review, research and drafting to case management and client communication. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a 30 year professional and contribute to the success of our organization.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough legal research on various topics, including real estate, business, and contract law.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, asset purchase agreements, company agreements, employment agreements, leases, construction contracts, and memoranda, with precision and clarity.
- Assist founding partner with case management, including responding to clients, reviewing and revising documents, drafting memoranda, meeting with clients and coordinating work schedule.
- Provide administrative support to the senior partner, including maintaining accurate records, and managing calendars / deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring that our team remains knowledgeable and competitive.
**Experience:**
- A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of Texas.
- One to two years' experience preferred
- Experience in legal drafting, research, and administrative support.
- Experience in real estate, business and contract law.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with legal research tools, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.

**Production Requirements / Bonus:**
- 1350 billable hours per year production required.
- Bonus paid for hours worked beyond production requirement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
