JOB DESCRIPTION
Our growing law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with a minimum of 1-3 years of legal experience to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role will be handling multiple foreclosure defense cases, attending court hearings, and handling other civil litigation cases as well.
EXPERIENCE
Core Skills & Knowledge -
· Strong understanding of civil litigation.
· Familiarity with loan modifications, loss mitigation, bankruptcy, and relevant federal/state consumer protection laws (e.g., RESPA, TILA, FDCPA).
· Ability to identify procedural and substantive defenses in foreclosure actions.
· Ability to argue motions and negotiate settlements.
Client Interaction -
· Ability to handle a high-volume caseload while maintaining high-quality client service.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to counsel and advocate for homeowners.
· Bilingual (Spanish/English) is often a plus.
· Willingness to travel locally for court appearances, if needed
QUALIFICATIONS
· 1–3 years of legal experience
· Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
· Active license to practice law in the state of Florida.
· In good standing with the state Bar.
