Probate & Estate Planning Attorney (2+ Years Experience) – Miami, FL (Onsite)

Location: Miami, Florida

Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Licensing Requirement: Active Member of the Florida Bar

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Probate and Estate Planning Attorney with at least 2 years of relevant legal experience to join our client's law firm in the Miami area. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, confident in court, and comfortable working directly with clients on sensitive and complex matters. This role requires strong communication skills, practical problem‑solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.


Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in probate proceedings, including court appearances, hearings, and related litigation as needed.
  • Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
  • Handle estate administration tasks such as preparing filings, coordinating with personal representatives, and managing deadlines.
  • Conduct client consultations to assess needs, provide legal advice, and develop tailored estate plans.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Florida probate and estate planning laws.
  • Work collaboratively with staff and attorneys to advance case strategy and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Manage a caseload with minimal supervision while maintaining excellent client communication.
  • Attend firm meetings, training, and onsite activities as required.


Qualifications

  • Active and in good standing with the Florida Bar (required).
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in probate, estate planning, or closely related practice areas.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Miami, Florida, Monday–Friday.
  • Experience appearing in Florida probate courts.
  • Strong drafting skills and familiarity with estate planning principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and client‑management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
