About The Job:
We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-15 years of experience in Real Estate law to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling a broad range of real estate transactions and possess strong drafting, negotiating, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and negotiating various real estate transactional documents, including but not limited to commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, real estate development agreements, and financing documents.
- Handling due diligence processes for real estate acquisitions, including title and survey review.
- Advising clients on zoning, land use, and other real estate regulatory matters.
- Structuring and closing complex real estate transactions, including commercial and residential developments.
- Managing real estate disputes and working with litigation teams when necessary.
- Assisting clients with real estate financing, including traditional bank loans, mezzanine financing, and alternative funding arrangements.
- Advising on and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal real estate laws.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-15 years of experience in real estate transactions, including experience with leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.
- Strong drafting and negotiating skills involving a variety of real estate-related documents.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex real estate transactions from inception to closing.
- Excellent research and analytical skills to support transactional work and resolve potential legal issues.
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and a member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in real estate development, including zoning and land use matters.
- Experience with commercial leasing for retail, office, and industrial spaces.
- Knowledge of real estate financing and loan structuring.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations affecting real estate transactions.
- LL.M. in Real Estate or Tax is a plus.
