About the Role
We are hiring an Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of litigation experience to join a highly respected plaintiff's firm in South Bay, CA. Key Responsibilities- Handle a variety of litigation cases, including personal injury, employment law, and consumer protection suits.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Assist in case strategy development, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions, advocating on behalf of clients.
- Manage client communications, ensuring regular updates and strategic guidance throughout the legal process.
- Work collaboratively with senior attorneys to support complex litigation matters.
- Analyze statutory and case law to strengthen legal arguments and case positions.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- 1-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury or employment law.
- Active license to practice law in California, in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Strong legal research and writing skills, with experience drafting motions and pleadings.
- Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent client communication and advocacy skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and case management abilities.
