About the Role

We are hiring an Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of litigation experience to join a highly respected plaintiff's firm in South Bay, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work on personal injury, employment law, and complex litigation cases, gaining hands-on experience in legal research, case strategy, and trial preparation.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, skilled in legal writing and research, and capable of handling client interactions effectively. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven attorney to advance their litigation career in a fast-paced and dynamic legal environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a variety of litigation cases, including personal injury, employment law, and consumer protection suits.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Assist in case strategy development, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions, advocating on behalf of clients.
  • Manage client communications, ensuring regular updates and strategic guidance throughout the legal process.
  • Work collaboratively with senior attorneys to support complex litigation matters.
  • Analyze statutory and case law to strengthen legal arguments and case positions.
Key Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • 1-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury or employment law.
  • Active license to practice law in California, in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills, with experience drafting motions and pleadings.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent client communication and advocacy skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and case management abilities.
