We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to join our team. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing the acquisition of goods and services essential for our operations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the procurement process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies: Create and manage procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and aligned with company objectives.
  • Supplier Management: Identify and establish relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure consistent quality and delivery.
  • Cost Management: Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure the organization is achieving the best value for its purchases, and implement cost-saving initiatives where possible.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery, and payment terms.
  • Risk Management: Assess potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate these risks to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Inventory Management: Work closely with the inventory team to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained, avoiding both overstock and stockouts.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, generate reports, and provide insights for decision-making processes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, production, and logistics, to ensure alignment of procurement strategies with company goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, plus if experience with technology purchases.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and procurement best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Certification in Procurement (e.g., CPM, CPSM, or CIPS) is a plus.
