Location: Our well-established law firm in Okaloosa County, Florida is expanding and has an Associate Litigation Attorney opening. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional client service to join our team. Our firm handles a wide range of practice areas, including real estate law, civil litigation, business and corporate law, family law, criminal defense, estate planning, guardianship, and probate matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel and representation in the civil litigation arena.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with clients, keeping them informed and engaged throughout their case.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft high-quality pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Manage caseloads efficiently, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
- Represent and advocate on behalf of clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Contribute to business development by fostering client relationships and expanding the firm's community involvement.
- Stay informed on legal developments and emerging legal trends.
Associate Litigation Attorney:
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to broaden their experience in the civil litigation area across a multitude of practice disciplines while working with the firm's senior attorneys in a supportive and collaborative environment. To maximize your learning potential and exposure to a variety of different practice disciplines, this is an in-office position in our Shalimar, FL location. Our firm values work-life balance and has reasonable annual billable hour requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be a member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
- Prefer at least 3 years of litigation experience.
- Strong commitment to client service, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent legal research, writing, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with the firm's team.
- Motivated by desire to make contributions to the firm and the local community in efforts toward building a client base
Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
