Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Interface Analyst is the primary technical contact for Sentri7 HL7 interfaces during the implementation stage. Works directly with external client interfaces to transform data into a proprietary database. This involves manipulating client data to conform to our standards, testing interface feeds to ensure proper transfer, and developing solutions to ensure the data interface meets established standards. Provides internal support to more senior Integration Analysts.

Duties And Responsibilities.
- Support and perform analytical studies regarding health-related data through the interface transformation
- Frequent external client communication for information gathering status updates, troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Performs configuration of interfaces through both user interfaces and programming.
- Performs data transformation based on pre-defined company standards.
- Supports system and data integrity.
- Ensures high system availability through the monitoring of alerts.
- Responsible for the safe handling of highly sensitive and protected health information (PHI)
- 0-2 years of work experience in a business analyst or software development role
- Experience working in a healthcare-related company preferred
- Experience with various program languages such Lua or Python scripting languages
- Moderate knowledge of Microsoft SQL
- strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of interpretation of customer business needs and translating them into application and functional requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse audience
- Experience working with transformation of protected health information preferred
- Knowledge of Health Level 7 (HL7) standard preferred
