Job Description:

As an Associate Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's data-driven decision-making processes. You will assist in the development, implementation, and management of business intelligence solutions, working closely with various departments to analyze data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting:

    • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to support business decisions.
    • Develop and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
    • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data used in reporting and analysis.
  • Business Insights:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting and data needs.
    • Identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business strategy and operational improvements.
    • Provide recommendations based on data analysis to improve business performance.
  • Data Management:

    • Assist in the design and implementation of data collection processes and systems.
    • Ensure data quality and consistency across various databases and data sources.
    • Perform data cleansing and validation as needed.
  • Support & Collaboration:

    • Work closely with other analysts and team members to support ongoing BI projects.
    • Participate in meetings with business units to gather requirements and provide updates on BI initiatives.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI tools and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    • 1-3 years of experience in a business intelligence, data analysis, or related role.
    • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar is preferred.
  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
    • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data manipulation and querying.
    • Familiarity with data visualization best practices and tools.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Attributes:

    • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with competing deadlines.
    • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
