ACs demonstrate growing independence in managing specific analyses or workstreams, preparing client deliverables, and supporting client discussions. They also mentor junior colleagues and contribute to proposal development and internal initiatives. High-performing ACs may be considered for advancement to Consultant roles within the PAE team.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution (80-90%)Independently perform quantitative and qualitative analyses under the guidance of senior team members, contributing to the identification of key insights and strategic recommendations.Take ownership of defined workstreams and small sections of deliverables (e.g., slide decks, reports, models or client presentations), ensuring timely, high-quality output with clear structure and analytical rigor, under the direction and oversight of Consultants or Project Managers.Conduct and synthesize secondary research (literature review, desk research, database review) to support project hypotheses and recommendations.Support primary research activities (e.g., payer & clinician stakeholder interviews) through note-taking, synthesis, analysis, and contributing questions when appropriate.Work closely with other Associate Consultants, Consultants, Project Managers, and SMEs to ensure alignment with project objectives and consistency in analytical approaches.Guide and support Analysts/Interns in data analysis, interpretation, and deliverable preparation, providing feedback and quality oversight.Business Development, Knowledge, and Internal Initiatives (10-20%)Support business development efforts by contributing to proposal development, including background research, drafting slides, and preparing relevant project materials.Contribute to internal initiatives such as recruiting, onboarding, training, knowledge management, or process improvement activities.Engage in continuous learning and contribute to the team's intellectual capital through thought leadership, case studies, or internal best-practice development.Desired Qualification & ExperienceMaster's degree or PhD in life sciences, economics, public health, business, or a related field; candidates with a Bachelor's degree and relevant professional experience will also be considered.13 years of professional experience in consulting, life sciences, healthcare industry, or analytics.Proven ability to structure, analyze, and interpret data to inform strategic decisions.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.Must be based in Barcelona or willing and able to relocate; this position requires in-office collaboration and occasional travel.Technical Competences & Soft SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with data visualization or analytical tools is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational abilities.Adaptability and curiosity to learn about evolving healthcare trends, payer systems, and evidence requirements.High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outputs.Languages: EnglishEducation: Contract Type: Regular
