Position Summary
Phoenix Staff is seeking an Associate Consultant to join a growing consulting team supporting organizations within the infrastructure and energy sectors. This opportunity is ideal for an early to mid-career professional who enjoys solving complex business and technical challenges, working collaboratively with clients, and contributing to project success from planning through execution.
The ideal candidate combines a technical foundation with strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
Primary Responsibilities
Partner with project teams and stakeholders to evaluate operational challenges and develop practical business and technical solutions.
Analyze operational processes, technologies, regulatory considerations, and industry best practices to support client initiatives.
Assist with project coordination, planning activities, documentation, and overall project execution.
Develop reports, presentations, technical documentation, and supporting materials for client engagements.
Contribute to financial evaluations, business cases, investment analyses, and performance measurement initiatives.
Prepare and communicate project findings, recommendations, and key insights to both technical and business audiences.
Support organizational change initiatives and stakeholder communication throughout project delivery.
Monitor developments in the energy and infrastructure industries, including evolving regulations, technologies, and market trends.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts by contributing ideas, documentation, and knowledge-sharing across the consulting practice.
Qualifications
Education, experience, or technical training that provides a foundational understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, or related engineering principles. Examples may include:
Associate's or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or another related technical discipline.
Professional experience working with electrical, electronic, or industrial systems.
An equivalent combination of technical coursework, certifications, and hands‑on field experience.
Minimum of three years of professional experience in consulting, utilities, energy, infrastructure, engineering, or a related industry.
Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking abilities.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Self‑motivated with a strong interest in consulting and professional growth.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with reporting or data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Python, or similar platforms is beneficial.
Graduate‑level business education or relevant business experience is considered an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience supporting consulting engagements, business transformation, or project delivery initiatives.
Familiarity with continuous improvement or project management methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or comparable frameworks.
