Overview: The Associate Data Privacy Analyst at Augmentjobs will support the company's data privacy and protection initiatives. This role involves working closely with the Data Privacy team to ensure compliance with data protection regulations, conducting privacy assessments, and supporting privacy-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Privacy Compliance:

    • Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable laws.

    • Help in the development and implementation of data privacy policies, procedures, and practices.

  2. Privacy Assessments:

    • Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) to identify and mitigate privacy risks.

    • Support the evaluation and management of third-party data privacy risks.

  3. Incident Management:

    • Assist in managing data privacy incidents and breaches, including documentation, reporting, and follow-up actions.

    • Support the development and maintenance of incident response plans and protocols.

  4. Training and Awareness:

    • Participate in the development and delivery of data privacy training and awareness programs for employees.

    • Provide guidance and support to staff on data privacy matters.

  5. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of data processing activities, privacy assessments, and compliance efforts.

    • Prepare reports and presentations on data privacy matters for internal stakeholders.

  6. Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay updated on data privacy trends, regulations, and best practices.

    • Contribute to ongoing improvements in data privacy policies and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Security, Data Privacy, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2 - 4 years of experience in data privacy, data protection, or a related field.

  • Knowledge: Understanding of data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with data privacy tools and technologies, experience with privacy impact assessments, and knowledge of data protection practices.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex privacy concepts to non-experts.

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with strong organizational skills.

  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other departments.

Preferred Qualifications:
