We are seeking an Associate DevOps Engineer to increase productivity, site/platform reliability of operations, quality, scalability and security through small batch updates, automation, monitoring, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (Continuous Flow). This role enables the engineering delivery teams to accomplish tasks such as infrastructure provisioning and build, bundle, test and deploy, in a self-service model, for both development and production environments. You will build experience with GNU/Linux since you will be supporting automated builds in an Enterprise and custom embedded Linux environments. You will also build experience with Amazon Web Services, because you will be deploying infrastructure as code to AWS cloud services in support of custom application development. You will also be working in conjunction with various development teams to deploy and manage our infrastructure, associated processes and systems. Responsibilities Support teams with self‑service tools for provisioning, building, testing, and deploying applications. Improve system reliability, security, and scalability using automation and modern DevOps practices. Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). Work across cloud infrastructure (AWS), networking, system administration, and security. Implement infrastructure‑as‑code and environment automation. Drive operational excellence through monitoring, logging, and process improvements. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field. 0-3 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer (or similar) role. Basic knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as Groovy, Python, Bash and C/C++ Familiarity with AWS cloud services such as EC2 and S3. Strong communication and trouble shooting skills and the ability to explain protocol and processes with team and management. Desired Qualifications that are not required: Basic knowledge of GNU/Linux OS such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux is a plus. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes on platforms such as ECS and EKS is a plus. Familiarity in working with Terraform, Ansible and Chef for infrastructure automation and configuration. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, BitBucket, Artifactory #J-18808-Ljbffr
