Our client, a leading UK consultancy with expertise across the construction and engineering sectors, is expanding their Manchester team and seeking an Electrical Associate Director to lead a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team on technically challenging data centre projects.This is a senior leadership role, ideal for a proven Electrical Engineer with strong data centre experience, who wants to take full accountability for the performance, growth, and strategic direction of the electrical function.This is a high-impact, senior leadership role for someone passionate about data centres, resilient power systems, and delivering world-class engineering solutions.ResponsibilitiesThis is a senior leadership role, ideal for a proven Electrical Engineer with strong data centre experience, who wants to take full accountability for the performance, growth, and strategic direction of the electrical function.Lead and inspire a diverse team of electrical engineers, ensuring technical excellence and high performance.Drive the delivery of complex data centre projects, managing design, technical, and contract-related challenges.Contribute to the strategic development and growth of the Manchester office.Oversee financial performance, including profit, cash flow, and project delivery.Promote a culture of learning, innovation, and operational excellence across the team.Provide mentorship, appraisals, feedback, and professional development support to senior and mid-level engineers.Procure and negotiate significant contracts with clients and suppliers.Champion integrity, inclusion, and collaboration within the office and across projects.
