A specialty division of our agency, Cramer Health serves pharmaceutical clients looking to build, nurture and/or grow patient communities and drive patient adherence initiatives.

The Associate Director of Strategy will drive the development and execution of our client’s critical initiatives and goals.

In this role, you will deliver excellence in alignment, intelligence, and implementation. You will be instrumental in building trusted relationships with C-suite leaders from longest standing client relationships and our newest relationships we can’t wait to see grow.

The ideal candidate will have passion for getting in the head of audiences. A deep appreciation for brand and the power of brand continuity. A knack for getting to the heart of the matter. And excitement to create actionable strategies that come to life through experiential marketing.

This role reports into the VP of Strategy and collaborates with cross-functional team members across the agency.

This role is full-time and requires the employee to work on-site in Norwood, MA.

What you will do:

  • Alignment – serve as a trusted advisor to bring alignment to client stakeholders and distill objectives, goals and KPIs for clarity
  • Intelligence - lead and conduct research, develop undeniable insights, create measurement approaches and do analysis to formulate clear and concise recommendations.
  • Implementation – create actionable plans and write compelling briefs, while collaborating closely with creative and execution teams to integrate the strategy across all event touchpoints
  • Workshops – Design and facilitate workshops (in-person and virtual) to accelerate progress and client engagement
  • Process Development - Support in solidifying our strategy processes and training the agency
  • Forward-looking: Keep a pulse on methodologies, the industry (ours and our clients), and strategy approaches to keep the agency at the forefront
  • Thought Leadership – contribute to the agency’s voice and perspectives, such as our annual trends report

Where you will grow:

  • Department leadership – the opportunity to grow into a department leader, manage direct reports, mentor others and influencing hiring decisions
  • Process and Service Development – the opportunity to develop new service offerings for the department and the agency

Requirements

  • You have at least 12 years of experience working at an agency, with at least 8 years in a Strategy role
  • You’ve put together attendee journeys and personas, briefs, strategic platforms, and measurement plans, for example, having worked on integrated brand experience campaigns that required those exact deliverables. You’re experienced with brand strategy and understand what it takes to land strong positioning.
  • Experience in the event and experiential marketing world
  • You are collaborative, highly curious and confidently carry yourself (and your point of view) forward. You love trying something new, feel okay with operating within ambiguity and foster in an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Excited by the ability to travel, intermittently.
