Protiviti Inc. seeks Associate Director, TC-Technology Strategy & Architecture in Austin, TX:
Job Duties: Partner with clients to solve complex technical business problems and provide technical solutions. Utilize knowledge of three-tier architecture and its impact on information and security management including: Presentation Layer (Client, web front-end, etc.), Application Layer (business logic), Data Layer. Work with a diverse portfolio of clients across industries and manage technical projects while networking and building business relationships. Assess Information Technology (IT) Department performance, alignment with business strategy, and define technical improvement roadmaps including timelines, dependencies, and budgetary investments. Assess IT cost structures, including benchmarking and defining optimization opportunities. Evaluate enterprise architecture strategy & define architecture modernization opportunities, including implementation of a multi-faceted strategy requiring a broad definition and development of architecture domains (technology operating model, architecture, and enabling capabilities, governance, and risk management). Establish architecture governance, encompassing people, process, and technology components of software architecture to build agility, enable a partnership between business and technology domains, manage risk and technical debt, and drive prioritization of initiatives based on current and target capabilities. Execute enterprise architecture functional design, focused on business, digital, and customer-facing strategies, and the technical capabilities. Define the skills, service delivery structures, and talent sourcing strategies necessary to deliver on the clients strategic IT vision. Analyze, define, and execute enterprise change toward desired business vision and outcomes. Partial telecommuting is permitted. Domestic travel to client sites may be required, as needed.
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in the field of Information Technology Strategy and Architecture. Employer will accept a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of Information Technology Strategy and Architecture.
Special Skill Requirements:
Three years experience with one of the following Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, Access. Experience in Product Management, Program Management, and Enterprise Architecture in at least two of the following industry segments: Telecommunication, Financial Services, Healthcare, and Government. Three years experience in managing complex programs using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) across multiple clients. Three years Business Development experience in Technology and Business Consulting. Three years experience driving alignment between IT and business strategy, Client Account Management, and People Development in a Consulting organization. Experience with IT strategic planning and implementation with client executives to develop a 13-year IT strategic plan that aligns with current operations and future growth initiatives.
Partial telecommuting is permitted. Domestic travel to client sites may be required, as needed. This position is eligible for our companys Employee Referral Program.
Base Salary: $200,000.00 - $230,000.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.
