Job Description: The Associate Engineer Technical Services provides technical support/advanced troubleshooting and drives continuous product, process, and packaging improvement at MW factory locations. The position is a member of the MSE Focused Improvement (FI), FMOS Pillars and support Q Pillar initiatives; leads/executes improvement projects and mentors/trains others in problem solving methodologies. Additionally, this role manages R&D line trials by coordinating requests with the site value stream, R&D, Engineering and Commercial to ensure optimal execution and knowledge capture. What are we looking for? Minimum Requirements Associate's degree (preferably in engineering or closely related scientific or technical disciplines) 2+ years engineering, manufacturing or related food industry experience Ability to work in teams, collaborate and influence others Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (preferably in engineering or closely related scientific or technical disciplines) What will be your key responsibilities? Implements new and improved products, processes, systems, methodologies, and packaging Designs, manages, communicates and documents line trials Develops and implements financial and quality continuous improvements through the application of complex problem-solving techniques, contributing to overall site CI goals through the completion of at least 2 Six Sigma projects per year Supports development of standard run conditions as part of new product/process/pack validation Leverages standard run conditions to develop statistical process control settings and ranges. Adds new sample plans to system Participates in Quality Management Programs (QMP) such as but not limited to Internal Audits, CAPA’s, S-CAPA’s What can you expect from Mars?
