Role overview

We are seeking a client-facing Sub-Advisor to support an established advisory practice by servicing existing clients, completing year-end and annual review meetings, and delivering responsive ongoing planning and service support. This role is ideal for a licensed or near-licensed advisor who enjoys relationship management, follow-through, and helping clients stay on track with their plan.


Key responsibilities

Client service and annual reviews

  • Prepare and deliver year-end / annual review meetings, including plan updates, goal tracking, and action-item follow-up
  • Conduct client check-ins, manage service requests, and coordinate next steps with internal team members
  • Maintain a high-touch client experience by proactively anticipating needs and providing clear, timely communication

Planning support and implementation

  • Support the advisor team with financial planning inputs and ongoing plan maintenance (data gathering, account updates, recommendations support, implementation follow-through)
  • Assist with retirement planning conversations and client education, ensuring recommendations align with the client’s objectives and risk profile
  • Coordinate implementation tasks across custodians, carriers, and internal stakeholders (as applicable)

Client administration and compliance support

  • Document meeting notes, recommendations, and service activity in the firm’s CRM and workflow system
  • Support basic suitability/compliance documentation, client file maintenance, and follow established supervisory procedures (as applicable)
  • Track open items and ensure completion of client deliverables within expected timelines
