Job Description and Duties

Are you looking for a fast-paced job full of variety? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to apply your analytical and adaptability skills in human resources and administration. We are an office of 8 supportive staff who are looking for our 9th person to complete our team. We need a dynamic individual to work as a Staff Services Analyst or an Associate Governmental Program Analyst in a customer-service oriented Administrative Services Office. This position supports programs and employees within the Divisions of Planning and Regional Assistance in a variety of Human Resource related subjects such as recruitment, performance management, and HR data management. The incumbent must possess excellent analytical and writing skills, communicate effectively, offer exceptional customer service, be organized, have the ability to prioritize work assignments, maintain confidentiality, and work well independently and in a team environment. We are seeking candidates who demonstrate ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff and departmental offices; maintain regular, consistent, and predictable attendance; and exercise good judgment.

This position is hybrid, working part-time telework and part-time in-office in a new, beautiful building in downtown Sacramento. Currently, we work in the office approximately one day per week and as needed, and roughly 4 days per week telework, but this is subject to change.
