Job Summary:

The Associate Health Economics Analyst will support the development and analysis of economic models, health outcomes research, and cost-effectiveness evaluations. This role is crucial in providing actionable insights to inform strategic decisions and improve healthcare outcomes. The successful candidate will work closely with senior analysts, researchers, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality economic analyses and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Economic Modeling:

    • Assist in the development and validation of economic models, including cost-effectiveness and budget impact models.

    • Conduct sensitivity analyses and scenario testing to assess model robustness and reliability.

  • Data Analysis:

    • Analyze healthcare data, including claims data, clinical trial results, and patient surveys.

    • Utilize statistical software and tools to interpret data and generate insights.

  • Report Generation:

    • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing findings, methodologies, and recommendations.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that reports meet the needs of stakeholders.

  • Literature Review:

    • Conduct literature reviews to gather relevant data and information on health economics topics.

    • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in health economics.

  • Support Research Projects:

    • Assist in designing and executing research projects related to health economics and outcomes research.

    • Provide support in the preparation of research proposals and grant applications.

  • Communication:

    • Communicate findings and analyses effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    • Participate in meetings and discussions with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Health Economics, Economics, Statistics, Public Health, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

  • Experience:

    • 1 to 3 years of experience in health economics, health outcomes research, or a related field.

    • Experience with economic modeling and statistical analysis preferred.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in statistical software such as R, SAS, or STATA.

    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

    • Familiarity with data visualization tools is an advantage.

  • Analytical Skills:

    • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.

    • Ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.

  • Communication Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Attention to Detail:

    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work tasks.

  • Teamwork:

    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as needed.

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
