Job Summary:
The Associate IT Project Coordinator will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects while ensuring adherence to project deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. This role involves supporting project managers, coordinating project activities, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Support: Assist project managers in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordination: Coordinate project activities, resources, and information among team members and stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure timely updates and issue resolution.
  • Monitoring: Track project progress, identify potential issues, and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Risk Management: Assist in identifying and managing project risks and issues, ensuring they are addressed promptly.
  • Quality Assurance: Support quality assurance activities to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks related to project coordination, including scheduling meetings, organizing resources, and maintaining project records.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or a related role, preferably within an IT environment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana).
    • Basic understanding of IT concepts and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with IT systems and software development life cycle.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
