CBSNews.com is hiring an Associate Managing Editor to steer our weekend coverage, assigning and editing stories across a number of beats and regions! The ideal candidate is a skilled editor with experience working in a digital breaking news environment. This is a full-time, 4-day work week and is fully remote. Hours are Friday through Monday from 7a to 5p ET. You will be expected to shift your hours as news breaks. Managing writers and editors; assigning and editing quick-turn news of day segments, explainers and longer enterprise features At least 5 years in a digital breaking news environment ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Hiring Salary Range: $110,000.00 - 125,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
