The Associate Mechanical Assembler working under general supervision, you will perform a variety of assembly operations associated with the manufacturing of explosive products, small mechanical or electro-mechanical parts, or equipment housing. Pay Rate: Up to $21.82/hour, depending on experience. Assignment Length: 3-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors. Shift Details: Monday – Thursday | 6:00 am – 4:30 pm Responsibilities This role also involves working on large equipment such as engines, engine and PTO drive trains, gas compressors, control equipment, covers/cowlings, and related connecting lines. Perform fitting, mounting, alignment, and adjusting during the assembly process. Conduct operational testing of assembled components and equipment. Execute a variety of assembly operations for explosive products and mechanical parts. Assemble large-scale equipment, including drive trains, compressors, and control systems. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 1–2 years of related assembly experience (skills typically acquired through this duration). Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work well with your hands. Ability to stand for most of the shift. Ability to lift 35 lbs. Proven ability to work effectively in teams. Ability to follow instructions accurately. Strong reading and writing skills.
