Position Overview
The Business Analyst will focus on market research, analyzing trends in the e-commerce, consumer market, and logistics sectors. This role involves structuring ambiguous problems, synthesizing complex information into actionable insights, and providing clear recommendations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, work effectively with diverse teams, and communicate insights to senior leadership. This is a dynamic, fast-paced position requiring creativity, intellectual curiosity, and a solid ability to collaborate in a flexible environment.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and analyze company cost and bid data to ensure accurate and competitive pricing strategies.
- Complete detailed product documentation, including SLA (Service Level Agreement) definitions and other related materials.
- Conduct market research to provide actionable insights for the product management team.
- Analyze overall company costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- Synthesize clear recommendations from complex data using qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Adapt quickly to new challenges, demonstrating strong learning and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably from a Canadian or U.S. institution, in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields.
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience is preferred. Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with cost analysis, bid management, or related fields is a plus.
