LHH in Chicago is working with a longtime client near O'Hare who is looking to hire an Associate Product Manager for their team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business or similar
  • Ability to work in office 3 days/week with occasional business travel (trade shows, etc.)
  • Minimum 2 years of product management experience of tangible b2b or b2c products (not tech/SaaS)
  • Exposure to managing products through both Stage-Gate development processes and full end-to-end product life cycles, from ideation through launch, optimization, and end-of-life.
  • Proficient in MS Office products
What You'll Do:
  1. Support new product development activities, including requirements definition, RFQs, sampling, and coordination with engineering, sourcing, and suppliers
  2. Assist in managing products through the Stage-Gate process and key development milestones
  3. Maintain product data, specifications, pricing, and documentation within ERP/PLM systems
  4. Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and product performance tracking
  5. Support product launches by coordinating timelines, assets, training materials, and cross-functional communication
  6. Serve as a day-to-day liaison between product management, operations, supply chain, and marketing teams
  7. Help manage product changes, line extensions, and SKU rationalization efforts
