Job Description: The Department of Emergency Medicine at UTMC is seeking anenthusiastic and mission-driven Associate Program Director(APD) to join our growing academic program and help shape thenext generation of emergency physicians. This is an exceptionalopportunity for a physician with a passion for education, mentorship, and academic leadership. Position Highlights: As the Associate Program Director, you will work closely with theProgram Director to advance all aspects of our ACGME-accreditedEmergency Medicine Residency Program. This role includessubstantial leadership opportunity while keeping you activelyengaged in clinical practice in our teaching hospitals (average 24clinical hours per week). Share in the leadership of the Emergency Medicine ResidencyProgram. Develop, oversee, and continuously improve: Resident didactics & curriculum Clinical schedules and rotations Faculty and resident evaluation processes Resident remediation initiatives New resident orientation programming Assist with day-to-day program operations. Assume program leadership responsibilities when the ProgramDirector is unavailable. Serve as a clinical educator and role model across UTMC’steaching sites. Additional duties as assigned to support programexcellence.
