Position Location: This role supports our Plano, TX branch location, which serves customers throughout the greater Dallas, TX area. Associate Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects of varying complexities. For projects with a financial impact of less than $100K, the Associate Project Manager holds fiscal cost reporting responsibilities for all project facets, including project billing, job responsibility, and overall customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Review project specifications, drawings, and project‑specific documents to establish project intent. Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team, identifying time‑sensitive installation requirements. Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects. Review plans and specifications and participate in project cost reviews. Assist the Operations Manager in the solicitation and contracting of subcontractors. Conduct orientations for project technicians and provide comprehensive project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application‑engineered drawings, and project contacts. Track resources and project progress. Document project events that impact the schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency. Pursue project‑specific change‑order opportunities. Coordinate and pursue project‑specific billing, collaborating with the Accounting team and Operations Manager. Schedule project‑specific commissioning resources and provide commissioning documentation. Expedite the return of project‑specific mark‑ups for as‑built development. Complete project‑specific close‑out documentation. Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures, and report unsafe conditions and actions. Basic Qualifications Associate degree. Technical experience in the commercial fire and life safety industry. Knowledge of local and national (NFPA) fire alarm codes and regulations. 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree. 3+ years of technical experience in the commercial fire and life safety industry.
