Our client is looking for an Associate Project Manager to join their team!
Job Summary:
The Associate Project Manager will work closely with other Project Managers/Operations Managers to manage all aspects of project delivery for the client's projects in the Northeast Region. Work closely with the regional team to coordinate and support with direct contributions to the project tasks and deliverables. Coordinates all aspects of the company's regional project(s) from initiation through delivery. Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring project completion (i.e., product on schedule and within budget constraints). Serves as an in-house project consultant, from evaluating needs and vendors to planning and directing implementation efforts. The Associate Project Manager will also be assigned to Operation and Maintenance projects to assist in the O&M phase of project delivery.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities include the following.
- Builds and maintains project schedules per project requirements.
- Prepares, implements, and monitors schedule and cost controls.
- Defines customer requirements.
- Assists or leads business development opportunities, including team development, proposal management, and price estimate development.
- Manages projects so that:
- Project deliverables are of high quality and meet the stakeholders' expectations.
- Projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in the most efficient manner possible.
- Project deliverables are deployed and turned over to the agencies smoothly and efficiently.
- Client policies, standards, and best practices are adhered to.
- Manages O&M projects to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Prepares project plans that guide project execution to a successful conclusion.
- Communicates project information, including approach, progress, forecasts, and issues, to stakeholders.
- Leads project meetings.
- Provides guidance to projects on best practices and standards to utilize.
- Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various project phases.
- Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required.
- Prepares project reports as required.
- Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- 2 plus years of experience in the tolling industry or equivalent
- Ability to Analyze, Modify, and Create Interface Control Documents for communicating with CSC Agencies.
- Development expertise in Object Oriented Programming Languages like C# or C++, or Java.
- Development expertise in RDBMS like SQL Server or Oracle or similar Database Systems.

- Excellent Communication skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Project Management, an equivalent degree, or equitable education and work experience.
