Join to apply for the Associate Project Manager role at Advanced Integration Technology The Associate Project Manager is responsible for communicating project information to stakeholders while monitoring and controlling project scope, schedule, and budget throughout the life cycle of the project. Duties and Responsibilities Assist in developing detailed plans for fabrication, installation and validation of production tooling systems. Project schedule creation and continued maintenance Respond to inquiries from project stakeholders across a global organization Develop, monitor, and report project budgets Approve and disposition non-conforming products from fabrication, electrical programming, and mechanical design activities Coordinate purchasing of components with internal manufacturing, external suppliers and vendors, including buy analysis Responsible for approval and change of production processes Perform other duties as assigned Education and Work Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing/engineering related field 3D graphics software experience such as SolidWorks, Catia, and NX Experience in an aerospace or tooling manufacturing environment Work Authorization/Security Clearance Requirements This position may require a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Can multitask and manage multiple large to small projects in a cross-functional environment Comfortable working in foreign business environments; must have strong interpersonal skills Creates and maintains complex files and written documents Work in a high-energy, high-volume, rapidly changing environment Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities Clear and effective communication skills in both written and spoken forms Understands how to use the computers, including basic tasks such as turning the computer on and off, locating and opening files, navigating to websites, performing searches, and downloading files Knowledge of computer applications including email, databases, word-processing programs, and spreadsheets (such as Microsoft Office) Maintains confidentiality while processing and handling confidential information with discretion Defines tasks and milestones to achieve objectives, while ensuring the optimal use of resources to achieve those objectives Works effectively with different levels of management, team members and customers Work Conditions Exposure Types No adverse environmental conditions expected Work Hours Standard work schedule; overtime may be necessary to meet deadlines, required travel, and emergent conditions Travel Requirements This position may involve travel up to 15% of the time Physical Demands Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers AIT Safety AIT enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
