Lansing, MI (4 days in-person, 1 day remote) 12-month CTH $28-30/hr DOE Our client, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated Associate Project Lead to join their IT Division in Lansing, MI. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to resolve problems, inspire team members, and deliver high-quality solutions. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing project documentation, applying project management methodologies, performing risk analysis, and facilitating effective communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders. This position is through our Elevate Program, which is our early talent program providing on the job technical training, mentorship and professional development. This specific program is for aspiring leaders with a desire to pursue management. Please review the qualifications and responsibilities below: As an Elevate consultant you will be immersed in a supportive learning environment that includes: Full-time, entry-level IT career (40hrs week) Technical Training (80-100 hours): Receive focused, hands-on technical training around Project Leader and IT Management. This training is designed to build upon your existing knowledge and equip you with practical skills for your role. Professional Development: Enhance your soft skills, communication, and business acumen through dedicated professional development sessions. Networking Opportunities: Connect with experienced IT professionals, mentors, and peers within the Elevate program and at client sites. Mentorship: Be paired with experienced mentors who will provide guidance, support, and insights as you navigate your early IT career.
