Job Description:
We are seeking an Associate Scientist for a long-term role to support research and development initiatives within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory techniques and be responsible for conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to ongoing projects. This role requires hands-on experience in a laboratory environment and familiarity with techniques used in biological, chemical, or pharmaceutical research.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory techniques and be responsible for conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to ongoing projects. This role requires hands-on experience in a laboratory environment and familiarity with techniques used in biological, chemical, or pharmaceutical research.
Key Responsibilities:
Experimental Design and Execution: Plan and conduct laboratory experiments under the guidance of senior scientists, ensuring precise execution and adherence to protocols.
Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, record, and analyze data from experiments. Use statistical methods and software for data analysis to interpret results accurately.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records, documenting procedures, results, and observations in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration and cleanliness. Report malfunctions and perform routine maintenance as necessary.
Method Development and Validation: Assist in developing, optimizing, and validating new experimental methods and assays.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to align research efforts with project goals.
Safety and Compliance: Follow safety guidelines and comply with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies and regulations in the lab.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline; Master's degree preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a research laboratory setting, preferably in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency with laboratory techniques, such as PCR, cell culture, chromatography, or spectroscopy, depending on the area of research.
o Familiarity with lab software and data analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel, GraphPad, or similar.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in documentation and experimental execution.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting research findings and collaborating with team members.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot experimental issues and propose effective solutions.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with GLP, GMP, and other relevant regulatory standards in the industry is a plus.
