Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare and diagnostics industry, is seeking an Associate Scientist I to join their team. As an Associate Scientist I, you will be part of the Laboratory Support Department supporting Verification and Data Analysis Teams. The ideal candidate will have problem‑solving skills, strong data analytics capabilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Associate Scientist I Location: Abbott Park, IL What's the Job? Write and execute system‑related verification and characterization protocols for hardware, software, and assays. Support data package summaries in accordance with governing procedures. Operate instruments at a basic level and perform repairs as needed. Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, and assay performance issues across multiple system functions. Apply quantitative methods to analyze data, evaluate results, draw conclusions, and suggest improvements. What's Needed? Problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in data analytics and laboratory procedures. Basic PC skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
