Meanwhile, you'll have the support and resources of the fastest-growing brand in the construction industry to make it happen.Your role on our team: The associate supply and demand planner is responsible for day-to-day supply and demand management, including planning, prioritizing and expediting both production and supply as needed to ensure on-time delivery to our customers.Maintains production and purchase orders in SAP, monitoring system for gaps in supply or system errors. Creates production schedule that considers normal and promotional demand, plant capacity, product mix, and material availability. Generates purchase orders for raw materials and indirect components in alignment with the plant's inventory strategy, working closely with vendors to hold delivery schedules.The person in this position will interface with all departments throughout the plant as well as corporate counterparts in supply planning and sourcing.You'll be disruptive through these duties and responsibilities:Responsible for 98% fill rate, escalating risks related to inventory or production capacity and following through to resolutionOwns order management process including EDI processing, issue resolution, shipment, invoicing and reporting. Engages with corporate supply planner to mitigate fill rate missesSets and communicates the weekly production plan and priorities for the operation. Schedules production orders accordinglyExecutes purchase order management including creation, confirmation, expediting and rescheduling activities, escalating roadblocks to key stakeholdersOwns container process including scheduling and reconciliation in SAPResponsible for domestic inbound and outbound logisticsSupports NPD projects by executing inventory and production plans, working closely with NPD coordinator and supply plannerWhat tools you'll bring with you:Associate or bachelor's degree required in a business-related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook)Strong organizational skills and a stellar attention to detail are essentialSolid communication skills, both written and verbalOther tools we prefer you to have:1 year supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment preferredDemonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills preferredPrior SAP experience is a plusAt Milwaukee Tool, we're invested in your well-being.
