Role: Audiovisual Support

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: Long term

Role & Responsibilities:

Familiarity and experience with product lines including Crestron, Cisco, and Polycom among other

Familiarity and experience with conferencing applications including Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and Zoom Rooms.

Ability to learn new AV technology and provide recommendations.

Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve service issues related to AV Systems.

Experience with setting up, testing, and supporting high-level meetings and events.

Comfortable interacting and understanding end-user requirements. Managing meeting expectations.

Successfully execute and complete AV install projects from the initial planning phase through the completed installation phase.

Coordinate RMA processing and parts procurement as needed.

Install and document hardware installation and technical procedures.

Work with engineering and operations teams to ensure conferencing procedures and support BKM's are followed.

Advanced AV & Event troubleshooting skills, methodologies, and use of diagnostic tools.

Perform administrative tasks such as completing service tickets and coordination with end-users.

Other duties assigned as needed.

Preferred Experience:

Training or education in the electrical and or AV fields is a plus; a college degree is a plus.

Hands-on experience in the AV industry, preferably as a technician.

Experience with systems such as Cisco, Crestron, and Polycom.

Proficient with equipment functionality and programming of Crestron Audio systems.

Install Creston conferencing equipment and room schedulers.

Set-up, test, calibrate and commission A/V systems.

Subject matter expert in multiple Audio Visual (AV) and Event technology areas.

Prepares documentation for designs, proposals, and event support presentations.

Participates in design, and testing of event setup and related hardware and software.

Provides analysis for event support equipment technologies and lab testing solutions (when applicable)

Broad knowledge of current Event system methodologies, designs, and troubleshooting techniques.

Perform multiple tasks simultaneously on tight timelines
