Hourly Rate: $28.00 / hour

We have partnered with a global retailer and wholesaler in the New York City, NY area to provide them with an Associate Technical Designer. Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Associate Technical Designer:

#1. 2 years technical design and patternmaking

#2. Working knowledge of garment construction, fit and pattern correction

#3. Passion for fashion industry technical design

#4. Associate degree in patternmaking, technical design or equivalent professional experience

Requirements of the Associate Technical Designer:

• Associate degree in patternmaking, technical design or equivalent professional experience
• 2 years experience in women's technical design
• Organized, efficient
• Spec, measuring women's garments
• Attend live fittings, take notes
• Organize and prep/steam clothes prior to fitting
• Track samples into our fit list
• Send fit comments to factories
• Basic understanding of construction/patternmaking in wovens

Other Key Requirements:

• In office role.
• No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
