We are seeking an Associate Technical Writer to support our Global 500 client, Sony®, and their PRO Support Division that spans a variety of innovative lenses, cameras, and digital imaging technology. The Technical Writer supports business operations by creating and maintaining content that communicates product information, processes, issue resolutions, and operational guidance. This role is responsible for performing RTB activities, maintaining accurate model data and documentation, addressing user-reported content issues, and collaborating with content administrators, technical writers, and other Sony teams to ensure information is timely, accurate, and aligned with established standards. Scheduling: This is a short-term temporary part-time position assignment Expected end date: Oct 2026 with the possibility of an extension through Jan 2027 Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. 9am to 5pm What We Offer Opportunity to elevate your technical writing skills with a world-class, multinational client Fully Remote Work - Home office space with high-speed internet connectivity is required $35.00 per hour Duties: Release Management: Write and publish ad hoc content in our Knowledge Base system, following technical writing standards, to clearly communicate issues, solutions, and processes to both internal and external stakeholders. Content Maintenance: Regularly update the model data and documentation files in our database systems to ensure accuracy in daily operations for both internal users and external service partners in our ASC Portal website RTB (Run the Business) Operational Support: Support internal and external users by reviewing and addressing feedback, resolving reported issues, and creating support tickets in JIRA for assistance from other teams. Teamwork: Attend regular meetings and collaborate with other content admins and technical writers to ensure work is completed on time and follow established guidelines and processes. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage directly with colleagues in Sony North America and global teams through MS Teams, email, and phone to gather the necessary information for data entry and content. Qualifications: Associate degree with 3+ year experience or 5+ years comparable experience Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail Working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Microsoft Teams programs Basic understanding of HTML is a plus Familiarity with Sony Electronics products preferred Physical Requirements: Must be mobile and able to sit and/or stand for minimum four (4) hours We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
