Overview:

Augmentjobs is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Technology Risk Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of technology risk management and a strong desire to grow within the field. This role involves supporting the identification, assessment, and mitigation of technology-related risks to ensure the security and efficiency of our IT systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Risk Assessment: Assist in identifying and evaluating technology risks across the organization. Conduct risk assessments for new and existing technologies and provide recommendations for mitigation.

• Compliance Monitoring: Support compliance with relevant regulations and standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001. Ensure that IT processes adhere to internal policies and external requirements.

• Incident Management: Help investigate and document technology-related incidents. Work with the team to analyze the root causes and recommend improvements to prevent recurrence.

• Vulnerability Management: Assist in the identification and assessment of vulnerabilities in IT systems. Support the implementation of remediation strategies and track the status of vulnerability fixes.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of risk assessments, incidents, and compliance activities. Prepare reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.

• Collaboration: Work closely with IT and security teams to support risk management initiatives. Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions on risk-related topics.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in technology risk management. Propose enhancements to existing risk management processes and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in technology risk management, cybersecurity, or a related role.

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies, vulnerability management tools, and IT compliance standards. Basic understanding of network security, data protection, and IT infrastructure.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to assess complex situations and identify potential risks.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in risk assessment and documentation tasks.

• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various departments.

• Certifications (Optional): Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are a plus.
