Garth Animal Hospital is a brand-new, independently owned small animal practice in Baytown, Texas, opened in September 2025. Due to rapid growth and strong community demand, we are looking to add a full-time and/or part-time Associate Veterinarian to our team.
Garth Animal Hospital was founded with a strong focus on Fear-Free, low-stress handling and thoughtful, patient-centered care. We intentionally structure appointments, workflows, and team training to reduce stress for pets, clients, and staff alike.
As an associate, you will have the support and autonomy to practice high-quality medicine, without corporate production pressure or rushed appointment models. This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor who wants to grow with a young practice and help shape its future.

The Role
This is a full-time or part-time small animal associate veterinarian position, including:
- Wellness and preventative care
- Sick patient care and diagnostics
- Dentistry
- Soft tissue surgery (including spays/neuters)
- Internal medicine cases
- Client communication and case follow-up

- Competitive salary range: $120,000 – $160,000+, with additional production opportunity
- Sign-on bonus (up to 40K)

To Be Considered for This Position
Candidates must have:
- Demonstrated commitment to low-stress handling and patient-centered care, Fear-Free certification is a plus
- Strong respect for veterinary technicians, assistants, and support staff, with a collaborative, team-first mindset
- Eligibility for Texas licensure
