What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide athletic training support and treatment for athletes at school athletic functions and within rehabilitation facilities.
  • Evaluate and assess athletic injuries, including underlying trauma, and provide treatment within the scope of your NATA certification.
  • Collaborate closely with team physicians and rehabilitation staff to ensure comprehensive care for athletes.
  • Implement injury prevention programs, proper taping, strapping, bracing, and fitting of athletic equipment.
  • Follow prescribed treatment plans from team physicians, ensuring athletes' safety and well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with coaches, athletes, and physicians regarding injuries and recovery plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field.
  • Current certification in Athletic Training.
  • Ohio State Athletic Training License or eligibility to obtain.
  • Experience in athletic training, particularly at the high school or collegiate level, is a plus.
