Established (60+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Senior Associate Attorney for Insurance Defense Litigation in Edison, New Jersey.

 

An established firm based in Edison, New Jersey with over 60+ years in practice is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney with 5-10+ years of experience to join their team in-office with flexibility for remote work as needed. This role focuses on insurance defense litigation, including complex civil litigation matters, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances while working closely with experienced trial attorneys in a collegial and well-supported environment.

Salary range: $110,000-$170,000+ contingent on experience

Performance-based bonus structure paying 10 percent of revenue generated beyond the attorney's individualized target

Qualifications

Admission to the New Jersey Bar in good standing

5-10+ years of litigation experience within insurance defense or related civil litigation practices

Strong drafting skills for pleadings, motions, and discovery

Experience managing cases with increasing autonomy

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced litigation environment

Strong interpersonal and client communication skills

 

Responsibilities

Handle insurance defense litigation matters from inception through resolution

Draft and argue motions, including dispositive and discovery-related motions

Conduct and defend depositions and manage written discovery

Appear in court for conferences, hearings, and trials as needed

Collaborate with partners and team members on litigation strategy

Manage caseload efficiently while meeting revenue-based performance expectations
