Job Description
We are working with a fantastic firm that is a “captive” real estate counsel for a major Private Equity Company whose platform is focused on investing in real estate assets in top markets within the United States in partnership with institutional investors.

- Property Management Matters: Handling and advising on tenant disputes, including enforcement of lease obligations and resolution of operational conflicts, drafting landlord notices, drafting and reviewing contracts related to property operations, vendor services, and facilities management.
- Lease Matters: Preparing, negotiating, reviewing, analyzing and abstracting retail leases and miscellaneous lease documents.
- Construction Matters: Support Company’s construction department with all construction related matters, including preparing and negotiating construction agreements, reviewing and revising permit applications, and reviewing and analyzing title and survey matters.
- Consulting: Work directly with senior management and leadership to provide advice on various legal matters.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Admitted to practice in the State of Florida or willing to sit for the Florida Bar exam within a reasonable period after hiring.
- Strong record of academic achievement.
- 3-8 years of experience
- Experience in commercial real estate, preferably in a large law firm environment representing real estate private equity funds and/or other institutional owners and investors.
- Experience with retail leasing and operations a plus.
