About The Job
We are seeking an attorney with a minimum of 4 years' experience in environmental law, with an emphasis on federal and/or state environmental regulation and law. Candidates who have worked for a regulatory agency or local government are encouraged to apply. Additional experience in land use and/or local government law is beneficial. This position involves extensive legal and regulatory analysis and counseling involving all facets of local, regional, state and federal environmental law and permitting, including Chapters 373 and 403, Florida Statutes, and the federal Clean Water Act, as well as the regulations promulgated thereunder.
Lateral partners with an established book of business are also encouraged to apply.
Must also have demonstrated capabilities in:
Advanced legal analysis and drafting of documents and pleadings.
Complex research and writing skills.
Florida Division of Administrative Hearings proceedings.
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
What you'll bring to the table:
Self-motivated and able to work independently and effectively under pressure, and embrace teamwork.
Membership in Good Standing with the Florida Bar (minimum of 4 years) with Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university.
