We would like to add an attorney to our firm with 1-5 years of experience handling insurance defense and personal injury matters.

Skills & Responsibilities:

Independently manage cases and pre-litigation matters

Collaborate with colleagues on matters

Develop and execute case strategy

Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, correspondence, etc.

Conduct and defend depositions

Prepare for and attend Court events

Take cases to trial and verdict

Mediate and arbitrate matters to resolution

Communicate timely and build relationships with clients and adjusters

Excellent legal research and writing

Thoughtful negotiation and case valuation

Computer skills: Microsoft, Outlook, Lexis, AI, and cloud-based file management.

Requirements:

1-5 years of insurance defense and/or personal injury experience

Admitted and in good-standing to practice law in Connecticut

JD from an accredited law school
