Job Description

Mercury Sound & Lighting, a leader in audio-visual (AV) integration, is seeking an experienced and motivated AV Integration - Account Manager to drive new business opportunities and support existing client relationships. This role will focus on building and managing client accounts, from prospecting through project execution, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting and relationship-building.
  • Client Management: Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and satisfaction is maintained.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to maximize AV project sales and meet or exceed assigned revenue and gross margin targets.
  • Sales Process: Perform needs assessments, create sales proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations. Collaborate with internal teams such as operations and administration to secure and execute sales.
  • Project Follow-Through: Ensure smooth transitions from sales to project completion, ensuring client satisfaction and conversion to service agreements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collectively with other sales team members and internal resources to ensure the successful delivery of AV projects.
  • CRM and Technology: Utilize CRM systems to manage leads, track sales activity, and report on account performance. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools like Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in AV integration sales or account management.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of tailoring solutions to client needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects while meeting sales and revenue goals.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments.
