This role will be based in the Greater Milwaukee area. The anticipated, average salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000 with the final offer determined based on business-related factors such as geographic location, relevant experience, education, skill set, and professional certifications. As part of our compensation philosophy, offers are typically not made at the top of the range to allow room for future growth and salary progression over time. Job Responsibilities Performs basic audit procedures, including testing transactions and reviewing financial records. Verifies accuracy of financial data by comparing items to supporting documentation. Prepares audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings. Assists in evaluating internal controls and identifying potential risks or compliance issues. Communicates audit findings and discrepancies to audit team members. Follows audit plans and ensures adherence to accounting standards and regulations. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and supporting audit team members. Delivers professional and responsive client service by clearly communicating with clients and team members.
