Audit Associate – Providence, RI We are seeking an Audit Associate to join our assurance practice in our Providence, RI office. The individual will be responsible for assisting with audit engagements for commercial clients across a variety of industries. Essential Duties Assist in the execution of audit and assurance engagements for commercial clients. Perform audit procedures, including testing, documentation, and analysis of financial data. Prepare workpapers in accordance with firm standards and professional guidelines. Identify and communicate audit issues to senior team members. Interact professionally with clients and respond to information requests. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university required. 1-2 years progressive auditing experience in public accounting required. CPA or progress toward certification preferred. Proven experience working with clients of varying sizes and industries. Commercial audit engagement experience preferred. Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities. Must be able to travel locally to clients when required. Must be able to work in‑office a minimum of 3 days per week.
