The Audit Manager will oversee audits from start to finish, guarantee compliance with U.S. GAAP and auditing standards, and work closely with internal teams and clients in a collaborative, professional environment. This role offers hands-on leadership opportunities while supporting your growth in public accounting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and execute internal and external audit engagements for clients in Hooper, NE.
  • Review audit documentation, financial statements, and reports for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure all audit work aligns with U.S. GAAP, professional standards, and internal control policies.
  • Mentor, supervise, and develop audit staff and senior accountants to strengthen the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive audit experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP, auditing standards, and internal controls.
  • Experience in public accounting, internal audit, or regulated industries preferred.
  • Proficiency with accounting and audit software, plus advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Hooper, NE part-time.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Skilled in managing multiple audits and meeting strict deadlines.
