We are seeking a skilled Auditor to become an integral part of our expanding accounting team in High Point, North Carolina. This full-time role is tailored for professionals with 4–6 years of auditing experience, especially those familiar with nonprofit and government sectors. The Auditor will ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and clear reporting for public and nonprofit clients. • Conduct audits of financial statements for nonprofit and governmental organizations in compliance with U.S. GAAP and auditing standards.
• Evaluate internal controls, accounting processes, and compliance systems.
• Identify financial or operational risks and provide actionable recommendations.
• Prepare detailed audit documentation, summaries, and formal reports.
• Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
• Stay informed of changes in regulations and industry best practices.
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of engagements in High Point.

Requirements

• CPA license preferred.
• 4–6 years of progressive audit experience.
• Proven experience auditing nonprofit organizations and government entities is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, auditing standards, and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines.
