Vacancies are located in the Gaming Audit Section for the Office of State Police Located in East Baton Rouge Parish.
These positions may be used to fill a probational appointment or job appointment.


As part of a Career Progression Group, vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as an Auditor 1, 2, or 3, depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant.


The Auditor 1 (pay grade level AS-614) has a minimum salary of $1,470.
40/bi-weekly; $3,186.
00/monthly.


The Auditor 2 (pay grade level AS-615) has a minimum salary of $1,573.
60/bi-weekly; $3,410.
00/monthly.


The Auditor 3 (pay grade level AS-617) has a minimum salary of $1,801.
60/bi-weekly; $3,904.
00/monthly.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
FISCAL OPTION:

A baccalaureate degree with nine semester hours in accounting and an additional fifteen semester hours in any one or combination of the following: accounting, auditing, business, finance, management, economics, quantitative methods, or information systems.

GENERAL OPTION:
A baccalaureate degree with twenty-four semester hours in one or a combination of the following: accounting, auditing, business, finance, management, economics, quantitative methods, or information systems.


SUBSTITUTIONS:

A certified public accountant (CPA) certificate, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation will substitute for the baccalaureate degree with twenty-four semester hours of the required coursework.


A baccalaureate degree plus a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Government Audit Professional (CGAP) designation will substitute for the twenty-four semester hours of required coursework.


A master's degree in accounting, auditing, business administration, finance, management, economics, quantitative methods, public administration, or information systems and decision sciences will substitute for the twenty-four semester hours of required coursework.


NOTE: Any college hours or degree must be from an accredited college or university.
