We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Shop Estimator to join a busy, high-volume collision repair facility. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who understands insurance estimating, repair processes, and customer communication.

The Estimator plays a critical role in customer satisfaction, repair accuracy, and shop profitability.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates for collision damage

• Write estimates using industry-standard estimating software (CCC, Mitchell, Audatex, or similar)

• Work directly with customers, insurance adjusters, and internal repair teams

• Explain repair processes, timelines, and costs clearly to customers

• Supplement estimates as needed based on tear-down findings

• Ensure estimates meet insurance guidelines and shop standards

• Maintain accurate documentation and repair records

• Coordinate with technicians and parts departments to ensure efficient workflow

• Deliver high-level customer service throughout the repair process

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as an Auto Body or Collision Repair Estimator

• Strong understanding of collision repair procedures and materials

• Experience working with insurance companies and claims processes

• Proficiency with estimating software (CCC, Mitchell, Audatex preferred)

• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills

• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Valid driver's license

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Estimated annual income range: $55,000 $95,000+, depending on experience, shop volume, and pay structure
